Coronavirus Tips to Follow
Due to the spread of Coronavirus in Carson City, it’s become plain to see that everyone is increasingly more concerned with what’s happening day-to-day. With that being said, it’s important to stay informed and to follow the established tips to help limit the spread of coronavirus. That’s why we’ve put together the following tips recommended by the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), which include but aren’t limited to:
- Wash the hands: This is one tip that puts the control back in your hands. Wash the hands often with soap and water. It’s recommended by the CDC to perform this task with a minimum of 20 seconds at a time. Consider adding more time if you’ve gone out.
- Remember the sanitizer: It’s not always feasible to lather up. When that’s true for you, it’s a good idea to make use of hand sanitizer to stay protected. Check the label to ensure it’s at least 60% alcohol to be effective in helping to prevent coronavirus.
- Adhere to self-isolation: None of us like this one, but it’s so necessary for the residents of Carson City. Stay at home as much as possible. Should you need to go out for some reason, maintain a minimum distance of at least six feet from everyone else.
- Clean your home: Surfaces in the home contain germs and bacteria. You can increase your odds of staying protected by regularly sanitizing and disinfecting your home. The best approach is to follow the sanitization protocol established by the World Health Organization.
